Porcelain Bowl d16

€170.00

Porcelain bowl, wood-fired in a traditional anagama kiln for five days.

During the firing, wood ash settled naturally on the surface and melted into a natural ash glaze. Flame and ash moved through the kiln over several days, creating variations in color, texture, and surface markings unique to this piece.

Each firing leaves its own trace on the clay, making every piece unique.

Please note: several larger ash deposits formed inside the bowl during the firing process. These deposits have been lightly smoothed by hand, but remain visible and can still be felt to the touch. They are shown in the photographs and form part of the unique character of this wood-fired piece. They do not affect the functionality of the bowl.
