Porcelain tea cup, wood-fired in a traditional anagama kiln for five days.
As the kiln was fired, fine wood ash settled on the cup and fused with the clay surface. Combined with the movement of flame and atmosphere inside the kiln, this created subtle variations in tone, texture, and pattern.
The porcelain body contains black grog, which contributes to the surface character and subtle textural variation after firing.
Each firing leaves its own trace on the clay, making every piece unique.
Dimensions: Ø10 × H6 cm
Volume: 210 ml
