Jar I

€350.00

Stoneware jar with lid. Fired for 5 days to 1300°C in a traditional anagama kiln. During the prolonged wood firing, ash particles carried by heat and flame settle on the pot’s surface and melt into a natural glaze, creating dramatic variations in color and texture.
Each piece is unique.

A tiny chip on the edge of the lid, caused during removal of protective wadding after firing. This is a normal part of the woodfiring process and can be expected in anagama fired ceramics. Barely visible and does not affect function or overall appearance. The piece is considered first quality.
